New Science Course Brings Dinosaurs to Life

K-12 educators who want to learn how to effectively incorporate real-world science discoveries into today's curriculum can sign up to take "Dinosaurs Among Us: The Link to Birds," put together by the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) and Classroom Connect. The course is the most recent addition to Classroom Connect's online professional development course offerings, and is available through its Connected University at www.classroomconnect.com.

The six-week course provides educators with the resources and support necessary to teach authentic science investigations in the classroom. It includes videos that take learners behind the scenes of AMNH's vast collections; resources and labs; interactive tools and techniques; and a course guide to lead educators in the learning process. Educators can also interact directly with museum scientists, providing the most current information and insight into science discoveries that educators, in turn, can bring to their students. Classroom Connect Inc., Brisbane, CA, (650) 351-5100, www.classroomconnect.com.
