Citrix Helps Schools Stay Connected

Citrix's Remote Access for Business Continuity (Remote ABC) protects critical information and applications, provides secure Web access to essential resources, and allows users to operate in a virtual workplace from any device over any connection during a technological disaster.

The Remote ABC system enables displaced students and education professionals to gain access to key applications and data securely through the Web without waiting for network functionality to be restored. Remote ABC allows schools to serve employees and students with little or no interruption. It relieves the IT staff of the burden and expense of determining which applications belong on each individual PC. With Remote ABC, applications are managed from a central location and distributed to client machines through Citrix ICA. Application access is specific to the individual needs of the user.
