Sharp's NotevisionM25X Projector

The NotevisionM25X is Sharp's flagship wireless projector. It uses Wi-Fi LAN technology and an exclusive new image-compression algorithm to permit real-time data transmission over a wireless network. The projector weighs 5.8 lbs. and features native XGA resolution and 1,900 ANSI lumens of brightness. It is also compatible with almost any computer source, including PC, Mac or Workstation through its DVI-I input, as well as with video sources such as DVD, HDTV, VCR or video game stations.

The CV-IC System II, a Sharp-developed video-processing chip, smooths the jagged edges, minimizes image noise and implements keystone correction, resulting in clear images. In addition, the projector features "Wireless Reality Presentation" technology and a newly developed vector quantization (VQ) technology. The VQ technology makes it possible to compress and decompress still images with high compression rates and high image quality. The projector's memory card slot is compatible with a variety of memory cards, including CompactFlash, SD, ATA Flashcard or SmartMedia via an adapter. The NotevisionM25X also features Advanced ImageACE Resizing that automatically adjusts different source resolutions to match the projector's native resolution, enabling it to handle images up to UXGA resolution.
