Kurzweil 3000 v6.0

The latest version of Kurzweil 3000 offers new features and product enhancements that help students with poor reading skills and learning disabilities access and comprehend print and Web-based information. Kurzweil 3000 v6.0 uses a multisensory approach, presenting printed or electronic text on the computer screen with added visual and audible accessibility. It has dynamic features designed to adapt to each student's learning style, minimizing frustration for both the learner and educator. The new version also offers improved file access capabilities that enable users to download documents in a variety of formats, including PDF. In addition, students are able to fill in the blanks directly on the scanned image of a worksheet or test while using other features, such as audible spell-checking. The program's new study skill tools also help make the learning process more systematic and personalized. Kurzweil Education Systems, Bedford, MA, (800) 894-5374, www.kurzweiledu.com.
