Animated Movies Offer Test-Taking Tips

BrainPOP, a company that produces animated educational movies for preteens, recently launched “Test Preparation” for students 8 to 14 years old. The movie offers different study tips and techniques for improving test scores. In the “Test Preparation” movie, animated characters Tim and Moby discuss planning a study schedule, avoiding distractions while studying, the value of organizing and rewriting sloppy notes, reviewing old tests, ways to get motivated, and the helpfulness of explaining subject matter to friends to test your knowledge. This title and all of BrainPOP’s 300 movies are aligned with national standards.
