FYI - Network Operations Center
Collegis (www.collegis.com) offers its Network Operations Center to keep track of network traffic for higher education institutes. The NOC allows Collegis to alert colleges and universities of infection by viruses or worms so that a quick and efficient response can be assured. When network usage surpasses a threshold predetermined by the higher education institution, Collegis receives a signal in the form of a phone call, page or alarm that enables its staff to notify the school and begin fighting the infection.
