Virtual Lexicon Animates the English Language
The Visual Thesaurus (www.visual thesaurus.com) uses 3-D visualizations of the English language to demonstrate the relationships between words. Available as an online subscription, the Visual Thesaurus uses cluster diagrams that incorporate free association and creativity to symbolize the function of words and the varying relationships among them. The color-coded diagrams show 14 kinds of semantic relationships such as parts of speech, synonyms and antonyms. The Visual Thesaurus also acts as a dictionary by providing definitions and usage examples of words.
