NetDay Lets Students Speak Up About Technology
NetDay’s Speak Up Day for Students 2004 gives students a chance to have their voices heard on the subject of using technology and the Internet. The second annual survey seeks to poll 500,000 K-12 students nationwide on the issues that matter most to them, and will be open for input from Oct. 11-29, with a national “speak up” day scheduled for Oct. 20. Data from the poll will be shared with national, state and local policymakers in an effort to shape the funding and implementation of technology in education. In addition, participating schools will be able to review their students’ responses. Visit www.netday.org for details on how to register and take part in the survey.
