NetOp Desktop Firewall from CrossTec Corp. (www.crossteccorp.com/netopfirewall), the first driver-centric desktop firewall, is a powerful tool to protect your network, PCs and laptops. The application enables network administrators to centrally assign administrative application privileges to users based on their job responsibilities, thereby limiting a network’s exposure to new vulnerabilities. It also allows for the centralized management of all network traffic (via port, protocol and IP address rules) and executables that attempt to spawn unauthorized processes on local machines, providing a true distributed desktop firewall solution.
