Adobe Expands 2005 Design Achievement Awards

College students with a knack for digital creativity are encouraged to apply for Adobe’s 2005 Design Achievement Awards, which is expanding this year to nine categories, by April 29. The competition will honor the best and brightest in such categories as environmental graphics, digital illustration, digital photography/imaging, interactive design, print design, self-expression, and time-based media. Also, for the first time this year, entries will be accepted from Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand and Switzerland; the contest previously accepted entries only from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. An entrant must be 18 or over and a full-time matriculated student in a visual arts discipline at an accredited institution of higher education. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony July 21 at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. For more information, visit www.adobe.com/education/adaa.
