  • Atomic Learning Releases Free Tutorials for TI-84 Plus Calculators

  • Build IT Program to Strengthen Technology Fluency in Middle School Girls

    SRI International and Girls Incorporated of Alameda County (Girls Inc.) have announced an $875,195 three-year grant from the National Science Foundation's Information Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers (ITEST) program (http://www.nsf.gov). The Build IT grant supports IT fluency and knowledge of IT careers through problem-based design curricula in after-school and summer programs for middle school girls in typically underserved communities. Additionally, program participants will collaborate as design partners with IT professionals and graduate students in the software engineering process.

  • TrueNorthLogic to Provide Arizona's Statewide Teacher P.D. Management System

    In collaboration with TrueNorthLogic, a leader in teacher professional development management systems, the Arizona School Services through Education Technology (ASSET), a department of KAET Public Television at Arizona State University, has successfully completed the integration of its ASSET Education Portal with the Integrated Database for Enhancing Arizona's Learning (IDEAL) — enabling a statewide teacher professional development management system. The IDEAL system is a sweeping initiative sponsored by the Arizona Department of Education to improve the educational environment for Arizona students, teachers, and administrators.
