Nova Learning Alliance Debuts at NECC
At this week's 2007 National Educational Computing Conference (NECC), a number of technology developers joined together to form a new group called the Nova Learning Alliance, an international consortium whose stated goal is to provide "affordable computer access to every student" and "to provide an environment where member organizations can work together to foster the continuing development of technology that will provide each child an affordable computing solution."...

Inspiration Launches Online Learning Community
At the 2007 National Educational Computing Conference (NECC), Inspiration Software kicked off a new online community for educators. The site, dubbed Inspired Learning Community, is designed for educators as "a place to discover and share ideas and resources for effectively using Inspiration Software's visual learning products to develop students' critical thinking skills across the curriculum," according to the company....
