Cypress-Fairbanks Deploys Network Monitoring Tool

##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

Network management software developer Ipswitch announced that the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (CFISD), a large public school district in the state of Texas, has selected WhatsUp Gold to monitor and manage its wide area network (WAN) infrastructure.

With more than 70 school campuses educating more than 96,000 students, Cypress-Fairbanks relies on WhatsUp Gold to alert IT staff to network problems before they occur. The school district uses the system to manage PCs, servers, HVAC plant systems, building lighting and real-time security cameras. The software alerts staff to network trouble spots and monitors bandwidth and device utilization to maintain peak efficiency.

Ipswitch also develops messaging applications and secure file transfer solutions.
