Studywiz Spark Partners with ePals, Takes Web 2.0 Around the World

"Dynamic LearnSpace" provider Studywiz Spark and social network provider ePals announced a partnership that will integrate the two companies' offerings to provide rich, dynamic learning experiences for K-12 students, teachers, and parents.
According to the companies, the partnership will marry the Studywiz content delivery environment with ePals social networking capabilities to provide rich, Internet-based content and educator tools in a secure, collaborative learning environment, capable of reaching around the globe.
"We're very excited to be working with ePals, a company that embraces global collaboration, cultural exchange, and project based learning through a safe Web 2.0 setting," said Bob Longo, executive vice president, Studywiz Spark, in a prepared statement. "Their global learning communities and evidence-based collaborative projects will allow our Studywiz Spark schools to forge new links, enabling the incorporation of authentic learning experiences into the everyday curriculum. Cross-global collaboration is an important element for today's classrooms. By examining with our users and ePals the optimum ways to thread global experiences, we hope to be able to equip all of our schools with the tools necessary to meet the demands of the 21st Century learning environment."
ePals is a free resource that reaches more than half a million educators and millions of students worldwide. Studywiz Spark is an LMS platform that allows teachers to collect, organize, and deliver rich media content, as well as track and assess student usage and involvement.
