Pasco Launches Online Academy for Ready Access to Math and Science Tools

Ed tech developer Pasco has launched an online academy for teachers and students to have easy access to activities and tools to augment education in the subject areas.
Featuring activities from Adaptive Curriculum, a division of Scottsdale, AZ-based Sebit, the Pasco Online Academy for Science and Math offers hundreds of standards-based activities online. More than 200 Activity Objects are designed to "give teachers and students access to supplemental lessons that enable students to develop and test their own hypotheses, experiment in a safe environment and learn by doing," according tot he company. The lessons include virtual experiments, scientific inquiry exercises, and problem-based learning and cover a range of topics. Lessons are aligned with national science and math standards.
In addition, the system includes online assessments that allow teachers to gauge student progress.
The paid subscription-based service is available to schools on an annual basis, and license options are available for use anytime from any computer.
