dataMetrics Adds STAR Assessments to TestWiz

dataMetrics has partnered with Renaissance Learning to incorporate STAR assessments into its TestWiz test processing and reporting software. The collaboration brings a new block of recognized, standardized tests to the software's data analysis functionality designed for prediction and improvement of K-12 student test scores.

TestWiz by dataMetrics is designed to help educators make student performance determinations with side-by-side assessment comparisons, intervention tracking, and correlation reporting features. The Web-based platform supports test data import from varied national, state, and local assessment sources including scanned paper printouts and now Renaissance's STAR series of assessments.

The STAR line, consisting of STAR Reading, STAR Early Literacy, and STAR Math tests, is widely used to predict student performance on other standardized tests. The assessments are also computer-adaptive, adjusting items according to the test taker's ability level and shortening testing time to fewer than 12 minutes.

Pricing for TestWiz is tiered by number of students, starting at $3 per student with a minimum purchase total of $1,500.

More information about TestWiz can be found here, and the STAR assessments here.
