Microsoft Partners in Learning Accepting Submissions for Innovative Education Forum
Microsoft Partners in Learning is seeking submissions for the 2011 United States Innovative Education Forum.
The USIEF will showcase teachers who effectively use technology to increase student engagement and success.
Interested educators can apply by downloading the IEF application here and submitting it to the United States Partners in Learning IEF Community (Windows Live ID required) by May 15.
To qualify, projects must:
- Demonstrate the innovative use of technology to engage students, inspire their creativity, and prepare them for the future;
- Use one or more Microsoft technology; and
- Impact teaching and learning at the K-12 level.
Applications are available to individual K-12 educators and teams of two. Individuals can also apply on behalf of their school to showcase a school-wide initiative or project.
Up to 100 finalists will be chosen to attend USIEF free of charge in Redmond, WA July 28-29.
