Lectora To Release New Interface this Summer
Lectora will release a redesigned user interface for its line-up of e-learning software this summer, and it is looking for schools to try out the beta version.
Trivantis creates several products on the Lectora platform, including Snap! By Lectora, which converts files in Microsoft PowerPoint to Flash format; learning management system CourseMill; Lectora Flypaper, which creates and edits Flash and video material; Lectora Inspire, which includes screen recording and capture features; Lectora Publisher, which lets users create e-learning courses; and Lectora Online, which allows for collaboration among developers of online courses.
The new interface will feature easier navigation, and updated functionality. It also will offer new features designed to allow users to create engaging, interactive resources.
Additional details will be released as the launch date nears.
"We are excited to streamline and enhance the development process with an entirely new user experience in Lectora," said John Blackmon, senior vice president of authoring products at Trivantis. "Users will experience better, faster and more powerful functionality from the moment they launch Lectora."
Current clients of Lectora will receive the upgrade for free.
