iSpring Rolls Out PowerPoint-Integrated E-Learning Development Suite

iSpring Solutions has released iSpring Suite 6.0, a collection of three software tools to help e-learning professionals to develop courses, quizzes, and interactions within the PowerPoint environment.

Components of iSpring Suite 6.0 include iSpring Pro, QuizMaker, and Kinetics.

iSpring Pro provides the ability to convert PowerPoint presentations to Flash while preserving PowerPoint animations, transitions, videos, and image quality. Course developers can also record or import presenter video and voice-overs and synchronize them with the presentation.

QuizMaker enables the development of multimedia exams and quizzes (graded or not), as well as surveys. It supports 11 different types of quiz questions, including true/false, multiple choice, and type-in, and 12 different types of survey questions, including yes/no, pick one or many, and ranking. QuizMaker quizzes can be enhanced with media attachments, branching scenarios, and custom feedback messages and can be converted to Flash.

Kinetics enables the creation of Flash-based interactions for online presentations and training materials. Kinetics currently supports 3D book, directory, FAQ, and timeline interactions. 3D books are virtual books that are designed to look and behave like paper books. Directories consist of a list of terms that, when clicked, display multimedia-enhanced definitions. Timelines are visual displays of chronological events.

iSpring Suite 6.0 courses, quizzes, and interactions can be converted to standalone Flash files, which can then be incorporated into e-learning courses, embedded into Web pages, or uploaded and tracked at any SCORM/AICC-compliant Learning Management System (LMS), including iSpring Online LMS.

iSpring Suite 6.0 is available now for $499 from the iSpring Store. License holders of iSpring Presenter 5 can upgrade to iSpring Suite 6.0 for $249. A fully functional 30-day trial version of iSpring Suite 6.0 is available for download from the iSpring site. For more information, visit ispringsolutions.com.
