Professional Development Videos for Teachers Now Mobile

A company that delivers video-based professional development to educators has made its library of resources available for mobile devices. School Improvement Network's library of 1800 video segments can now be viewed through PD 360 Mobile, an app that works on the Apple iOS and Google Android platforms.

The free mobile app synchronizes with an educator's PD 360 account, which maintains a record of all material viewed by that person on all devices. That record enables administrators to stay on top of teachers' on-going professional development progress.

Topics covered by the service encompass assessment, classroom instruction and management, coaching, differentiation, diversity, instructional strategies, leadership, special education, and the use of data in instructional work.

The company claims to have 2153 districts using its video-based instruction.
