CompassLearning Opens $15,000 Odyssey Grant Program

Teachers using CompassLearning Odyssey have a chance to apply for grants through the 2012 CompassLearning Odyssey Innovation Grant program.

CompassLearning Odyssey is a tool teachers at elementary and secondary schools can use to create individualized learning programs tailored to students' specific needs. The CompassLearning Odyssey Grant program will award three teachers who use CompassLearning Odyssey to improve student achievement or to close the student achievement gap. Educators have a chance of being selected for the grant if they can demonstrate student improvement on standardized tests.

To be eligible to apply for the grant, educators must have an active CompassLearning Odyssey login. Multiple educators per school district are permitted to apply, but each educator may only apply once.

The deadline to apply for grants is Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at 5 p.m. Eastern. Winners of the grants will be announced by Monday, Oct. 1, 2012.

There is no fee to apply, and CompassLearning will award $15,000 in grants after educator applications are reviewed.
