Funds For Learning Debuts New E-rate Manager Packages

E-rate Manager customers will now have the option of selecting between three levels of service and features that best serve their E-rate needs.

Funds For Learning, a company that helps school districts and libraries go after E-rate funds from the federal government, has developed a new set of offerings for a tool its clients use to track and manage their E-rate work. E-rate is a program funded by the Federal Communications Commission to assist schools in funding implementation of telecommunications and data services and products.

E-rate Manager for Applicants now comes in three versions: standard, premium, and professional. The standard edition includes E-rate funding reports sortable by year, funding status, service provider, and category, as well as form statuses. In fall 2012 mobile-friendly access will be available for funding request information.

The premium version includes those functions as well as tools and wizards for creating, copying, and electronically submitting E-rate-related forms. It also has auto-tracking to notify clients about changes in their form status, funding commitments, and processing of forms, as well as online document archiving, and advanced reporting capabilities.

The professional edition adds a larger amount of archive capacity, additional reporting, invoice reconciliation services, asset tracking, and video training and online compliance to test staff understanding of the E-rate rules and practices.

Pricing of the offerings starts at $199 and varies depending on the size of the district.
