Idaho District Automates Timekeeping for Employees
Idaho's Meridian Joint School District (JSD) No. 2 has a new automated way to track time and attendance for its more than 3,000 district employees.
JSD No. 2 has chosen TimeClock Plus, from Texas-based Data Management Inc., to manage timekeeping for its employees, following a product review process this summer. The district made the investment as a way to save money and make better use of its time, according to Dave Roberts, payroll supervisor for the district, in a prepared statement issued today by TimeClock Plus.
"Automating the timekeeping process will enable us to increase efficiencies in our payroll processes," said Roberts, "decrease supervisorial time required to review time cards, and increase accuracy in time reporting for all of our classified employees."
TimeClock Plus, available as a Windows or Web application, integrates with SunGard K-12 Education's BusinessPLUS solution, according to the company's Vice President of Sales Jordy Moorman. Additional information about the solution can be located at the company's Web site.
