Pearson Integrates Equella Digital Repository with Echo360

Pearson has integrated its Equella digital repository with Echo360, according to a statement released this week by Pearson. The new integration allows instructors to capture and store lectures, which are then "coded into different formats, and published into Equella." The system detects all Echo360 content, extracts its information from the system, and tags it to the content. The references can be linked to any learning management system or portal that's integrated with Equella. Instructors can publish the content to a course from the digital repository. The media streams from Echo360 where it's stored.

The Echo360 attachment is scheduled for release next month in Equella 6.1. Additional information about the integration is available at www.equella.com.
