Brief: DreamBox Launches Free Math App for iPad

DreamBox Learning has released its DreamBox Learning Math program as a free iPad app.

Featuring a game-like environment, the adaptive learning program is "designed to differentiate content, pace and sequence" and includes "more than 1,200 preK-5 interactive and adaptive lessons and virtual manipulatives," according to a news release.

"The DreamBox Math App has ignited excitement among students during both structured and spontaneous math instruction," said Amy Bolting, fifth grade technology lead at Alvin Independent School District, in a prepared statement. "Students are eager to dive into math lessons, even doing so during their free time. DreamBox Math on iPad promises to have a significant impact on math proficiency among my students."
