Brief: ePals Joins Pearson's Online Learning Exchange

Social learning and education media provider ePals has struck a deal to make its materials available through Pearson's Online Learning Exchange (OLE).

OLE is a digital library featuring resources for teachers aligned to the Common Core State Standards and tools for building customized lessons.

Designed for K-12 learners, ePals' multimedia "is cross-discipline, digital and physical, multi-lingual," and includes contributions from "Babybug, Ladybug, Cricket, Cobblestone, Muse, Odyssey, Faces, Cicada, Appleseeds, Ask, Dig, Calliope and Iguana," according to a company news release.

"We are excited to enhance our OLE offering with ePals' strong grade-leveled content in science, social studies and literature," said Pearson Senior Vice President Lynda Cloud, in a prepared statement. "Our goal is to provide the best content and tools out there and working with ePals is another strong step in that direction."
