Sonic Foundry Revs Mediasite 7 -- THE Journal

Sonic Foundry has updated Mediasite 7, the company's video publishing and capture platform.

Updates to the open and scalable platform include a dynamic enterprise video portal, enhanced mobile capabilities and expanded video capture tools.

Other new and enhanced features include:

Interactive video portal called Mediasite Showcase that enables users to curate, spotlight and share live and on-demand content;
Enhanced mobile app that enables users to browse, search and watch Mediasite video or Showcase;
One-click publishing to YouTube, iTunes and iTunes U;
New capture solutions, including the RL100 and MultiView;
Expanded videoconference endpoint support for capturing, archiving, streaming and managing video meetings in the cloud; and
Ability to capture video from any mobile device and upload it to Mediasite.
