SimpleK12 To Host Free Google Tools Event for Educators

SimpleK12, a provider of online professional development for educators, will host a free webinar series August 9 on the effective use of Google tools and apps in the classroom.

The series will feature five back-to-back webinars hosted by subject experts and will cover "tools for effective searching, improving communication\ and saving time," according to a news release, "along with information on the most effective ways to get started with new Google tools."

"At a time when travel is expensive and job responsibilities do not allow teachers to go to conferences outside of their local area, SimpleK12 fulfills an important need," said Esther Berkowitz, SimpleK12 member and past webinar attendee, in a prepared statement.
