Lantronix Launches PAL Initiative To Bring Mobile Printing to the Classroom

Lantronix has launched the Print and Learn (PAL) program, an initiative designed to help educational institutions deploy tools to print directly from mobile devices to printers in the classroom.

"PAL is designed to help schools maximize their existing resources to provide students with the tools they need to be successful in the digital environment," according to a news release. "The program consists of product discounts, idea sharing on social media, professional services and a year-long photo contest."

"With the increasing adoption of tablets and other mobile devices in the classroom, it is clear that schools need a simple and cost-effective mobile printing solution," said Kurt Busch, Lantronix president and CEO, in a prepared statement. "Supporting our education institutions and promoting meaningful digital integration into the classroom is something we believe in, and we're happy that we can play a role to ease the transition to the digital classroom."
