Performance Matters Key Data Systems Partner on Common Core Assessments

Performance Matters has partnered with Key Data Systems (KDS) to provide new Common Core State Standard- (CCSS) aligned assessment items through its Unify platform.

As part of the new partnership, Performance Matters customers will now be able to subscribe to the KDS Inspect Assessment Solution, which includes an item bank with technology-enhanced items designed to emulate those in high-stakes exams and more than 200 complete interim and end-of-year assessments.

"The Inspect formative assessment item bank, which is now offered through the Unify platform, has more than 32,000 English language arts and math items aligned to Common Core or state academic standards, and a national bank of over 14,000 history and science items," according to a news release. "Several hundred new items are added to the bank each month. Schools can administer the KDS assessments online or via plain paper scanning, and access comprehensive reporting and analytics as student assessments are scored."

"Using the INSPECT Assessment Solution with Unify, teachers can get easy access to the items they need to prepare students for online, high-stakes assessments, as well as real-time data to make decisions about how to best improve classroom instruction and student achievement."
