Edmentum Updates Sensei with Expanded Reporting, New Views

Edmentum has updated its data platform, Edmentum Sensei, with expanded reporting for teachers using the company's Study Island platform and new views for Plato Courseware and Edmentum Assessments.

With the new reporting, teachers can track student progress toward mastery of standards to aid in instructional decisions and individualization.

The new views in Plato Courseware and Edmentum Assessments are designed to allow administrators to get a program-level insight into progress and provide a family portal for parents to track their students. "The program view will allow district-level roles to view district progress toward program goals, monitor account usage and trends, and make data-driven decisions," according to a news release. "Edmentum Sensei for Families provides a portal for parents and caregivers, delivering the ability to track student progress and ongoing assignments."

"Educators are inundated with data, but the real challenge is finding and using insight from that data," said Paul Johansen, chief technology officer at Edmentum, in a prepared statement. "Edmentum Sensei aggregates data from our programs and presents it in an intuitive and engaging way so that educators can take action to improve their programs by making data-driven decisions."

The updates are currently available and free to existing customers.
