ClassDojo Improves Messaging for Student Encouragement App

ClassDojo has updated its student encouragement app with improved tools for parent engagement, messaging and more.

Designed to allow teachers to give students positive feedback in the classroom, ClassDojo is available on any mobile device. Features new to this version include:

  • ClassDojo Messaging, which allows teachers to send parents text messages, photos, voice notes and "stickers";
  • New views for teachers, parents and students, allowing students to track their progress, parents to message a teacher and track progress and teachers to view all of their students and parents;
  • An improved interface;
  • The ability for teachers to offer feedback from the class screen or send feedback, photos or messages through student or parent profile screens; and
  • Real-time at-a-glance progress reports for parents, as well as the option for printed reports from the teacher.

"We believe in a world where stronger relationships between teachers, students, and parents matter a lot," said Sam Chaudhary, co-founder & CEO of ClassDojo, in a prepared statement. "We know this leads to more success in school, in our communities, and in life. We're excited about our update today, because it makes a meaningful school-to-home connection a reality for families everywhere."
