NVBots Launches 3D Printing Lesson Library

3D Printer provider NVBots has launched NV Library, a collection of lesson plans that include 3D printing.

Aligned to the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards, the lessons are designed to help teachers easily introduce 3D printing to their classrooms.

Examples of modules released include:

  • A spectroscope project designed to help students learn about light by separating and observing the component wavelengths of light from different sources;
  • A project that asks students to use machines designed by themselves or NVBots and printed in the classroom to build a Rube Goldberg machine; and
  • A project designed to teach students to use CAD software to design pieces to be printed.

In related news, the company has shipped its first NVPro Printer to a charity organization to be given to a school in need as part of its Fundable Rewards initiative.
