BenQ Releases a Line of sRGB Projectors

BenQBenQ America has introduced a full lineup of 100% sRGB Colorific projectors. The new roster uses the sRGB color space — an industry standard for color accuracy and saturation in smartphones, monitors, cameras, printers and the Internet — so that users can see their work consistently whether on a phone or a projection screen.

According to the company, BenQ's new projectors deliver 100% sRGB color for a environments including small- to medium-sized conference rooms and large venues.

The BenQ P-Series Professional Projectors — PU9730 (pictured) and PU9530 — deliver 7,000 and 6,000 ANSI lumens, respectively. Suitable for auditoriums, both models feature WUXGA resolution; 360-degree rotation; motorized zoom, focus and lens shift; LAN control; and a range of connectivity options including HDBaseT. The projectors offer seven interchangeable lenses and color wheels.

The High Brightness S-Series Professional Projectors (SU964 and SU922) feature 6,500 and 5,000 ANSI lumens of brightness combined with 8300:1 and 3000:1 contrast ratios, respectively. Delivering up to 2.3 million pixels, the projectors deliver full HD images. With WUXGA resolution, the duo also accommodates several connectivity options, including dual HDMI and HDBaseT to support multiple media sources. The projectors also provide a 1.5x zoom, horizontal and vertical lens shift, corner fit correction and LAN Control to support Creston Roomview, PJLink and AMX systems.

The BenQ HC1200, which the company bills as the market's first 100% sRGB projector, offers 1.5x zoom capabilities, 2D keystone correction and an embedded test pattern. The HC1200 also provides integrators both RJ45 (LAN) and RS232 networking standards as well as a variety of connectivity options, such as dual HDMI.
