BenQ Intros 4 New Signage Displays

BenQ has introduced four new digital signage display models for education that can make viewing more comfortable and offer more mobile sharing capabilities.

The RP790 and RP702 are virtually the same model, only in different display sizes of 79 inches and 70 inches, respectively. Each offers new Eye-Care tools like anti-glare glass to counter light reflection, low-blue light technology and flicker-free viewing to reduce eye fatigue.

Both RP models come with DisplayNote software and a bundle of desktop and mobile applications presenters can use to stream content directly from multiple participants and multiple devices. At the same time, BenQ's QWrite software enables onscreen user interaction with editing, highlighting and co-creating tools.

Its Multiple Display Administrator software supplies remote monitoring and control functions along with instant alerts, when necessary, to IT staff.

The new 55-inch PL550 offers what BenQ representatives say is the world's smallest bezel-to-bezel gap, 3.5mm, creating relatively seamless viewing experiences. It also provides HDMI digital daisy chain capabilities, USB flash drive connectivity and video-over-Ethernet.

The ST550K, also 55 inches, has 4K2K resolution and 350 nits of brightness with X-Sign content creation and management software and a content Android operating system that enables USB playback and connectivity to allow mobile devices to mirror content to the monitors.

"Our digital signage displays continue to evolve," said BenQ America Senior Product Marketing Manager Felix Pimentel. "We've taken a bold step in making signage systems smarter for today's diverse applications."

Being introduced during InfoComm 2015 in Orlando, BenQ has not released suggested prices yet for the new digital sign display models.
