Klaxoon Debuts Cross-Device Learning Platform
Klaxoon, a new interactive training
solutions development company, has launched its cross-device learning platform
that is designed to support customized online, interactive learning activities
on any smartphone, tablet or laptop without installing software on the client
device.
The KlaxoonCloud software-as-a-service platform lets up to 1,000 people
connect to the service at once, where they take part in local or remote
meetings, webinars or in-class or virtual learning courses. Educators can use
Klaxoon Session to upload their own content and create 20 different types of
activities with that content, including quizzes, surveys, brainstorming
activities and live messaging. Klaxoon Adventure lets educators gamify learning
by letting students compete against each other as they answer questions.
Klaxoon Reports capture information from a session, so it can be reviewed or
shared with participants.
KlaxoonBox is a hardware solution that extends the KlaxoonCloud by enabling
up to 100 teachers and students to access Klaxoon over a dedicated, private
Wi-Fi connection, without the need for an Internet connection. The KlaxoonBox
is small and designed to be portable, so it can be moved around and plugged in
anywhere.
Klaxoon "simplifies the way people learn by making it daily, more
interactive, and giving not only professionals and educators but also anyone of
us an efficient, all-inclusive solution," said Matthieu Beucher, CEO of
Klaxoon, in a prepared statement.
Further information about the Klaxoon learning platform can be found on Klaxoon's site.
