Mimio Introduces Largest Touch Display in Its MimioDisplay Line
Mimio has introduced a new ultra-high definition
(UHD) touch display that has resolution four times that of conventional
1,080P
high-definition displays.
The
new UHD MimioDisplay touch display,
like
others in the line that preceded it, combines the features of an interactive whiteboard with a
high-resolution display
and speakers. However, the new display can accommodate up to 10
single-touch
users or five dual-touch users who are using either styli or their own
fingers.
Available in 75- and 84-inch
diagonal sizes, it is now Mimio's largest interactive display and, with
built-in speakers, there is no need for a separate audio system.
Likewise, the
low-glare and low-friction
glass surface makes it easier to see and provides a smooth touch
experience.
The MimioDisplay
touch display is integrated with
other MimioClassroom products, including the MimioMobile collaboration
and
assessment app. The accompanying MimioStudio classroom software makes
it easier
to both create and deliver lessons.
"This
newest version of the MimioDisplay is the
latest in our mission to help educators deliver great instruction and
engage
students in a collaborative learning experience," said Mimio Marketing
and
Product Management Director Stevan Vigneaux. "The display's size and
LED
backlighting make lessons more visually striking and memorable, even in
large
classrooms. Users will get all the features of a touch-driven
interactive
whiteboard combined with the simplicity and elegance of a
state-of-the-art,
ultra-high-definition LCD display."
