Pasco Launches Sensor, Software Giveaway for STEM Teachers

Pasco Scientific, provider of STEM education resources, has launched the "Reimagine the Classroom" daily giveaway contest, awarding $600 packages of sensors and software each day for 50 days.

Teachers can enter at pasco.com/wireless to win eight wireless temperatures sensors and Sparkvue software. Teachers can earn additional entries by signing up for the company's newsletter, sharing information about the contest with friends or by following Pasco on Facebook or Twitter. A teacher will be chosen to win the prize package each day through June 2.

"Every day, in classrooms across the country, teachers are working diligently to create active learning environments where students can work creatively and collaboratively to explore scientific discovery," said Steven Korte, CEO of Pasco Scientific, in a prepared statement. "We developed this giveaway to provide teachers with new opportunities to reimagine classroom learning and unleash students' imaginations. Using Pasco's wireless sensors and Sparkvue for data collection, analysis and visualization, teachers and students can bring science to life and reveal otherwise invisible phenomena. These activities connect students with their world, while deepening their understanding of scientific concepts."
