Carnegie Learning Adds Summative Assessments to Middle School Math Software
Carnegie Learning, a company that offers software- and web-based personalized learning solutions, has introduced a new feature to its math software that enables users to add summative assessments.
The MATHia platform (intended for students in grades 6 to 8) already has formative assessments built into the software, but now, thanks to a new collaboration with Edulastic, users will have digital summative assessments that “provide immediate access to comprehensive results and data,” according to a news release.
Edulastic offers free, easy-to-use tools that teachers can use to create their own assessments. It has more than 30 technology-enhanced question types, or users can create their own types. It also has auto-grading and other time-saving, web-based tools.
