Google Updates Classroom and Forms for Back-to-School

In time for back-to-school season, Google has rolled out 10 updates to Classroom and Forms that are designed to help teachers save time and stay organized.

Notably, Classroom now has a “student view” feature that enables teachers (as well as students) to see the status of assigned work. Teachers can take advantage of the student view to support personalized learning practices for individual students, according to a Google blog post.

To help with organization, Classroom now lets teachers order classes according to their schedules easily with drag-and-drop class cards. They can also seamlessly transfer ownership of a class Drive folder to other teachers.

Furthermore, Google has expanded its list of external applications that work with Google Classroom, adding integrations to Quzizz, Edcite and Kami. Google noted in the post that an integration to Code.org would be coming soon to Classroom.
