HP Debuts New Ruggedized Notebook for Classroom Use
HP has launched a new notebook designed specifically for use in the classroom.
The HP Stream 11 Pro G4 Education Edition notebook features a rugged design with co-molded rubber and a unique impact-dispersion pattern designed to protect the hinges along with a spill-resistant keyboard and an optional "always-on" case.
Additional features of the 18-millimeter-thick notebook include:
- A hinge with 180-degree flexibility for easy viewing when sitting at individual desks or for laying flat for collaboration between students;
- An 11.6-inch diagonal touchscreen with the option to upgrade to an IPS touchscreen;
- 2x2 802.11 AC WLAN;
- The choice between Windows 10 Pro or 10 S;
- HP School Pack 2.5 preinstalled with tools for differentiating instruction and classroom organization;
- Intel Celeron Dual Core and Quad Core processors;
- Up to 11 hours of battery life; and
- 64 gigabytes of storage with the option to upgrade to 128.
