Kahoot! Adds Features to Game Creator

Ahead of the start of the new school year, Kahoot! is revamping its game-based learning platform by adding new tools to tools to speed up and simplify kahoot creation for teachers. The company is introducing a question bank to make it easier for users to find questions, answers and supporting images for their games.

Kahoot! has also added new question types into its platform to give users more options. True or false questions will allow instructors to check their students’ initial understanding or to determine how well students are paying attention.

Slides are a new premium feature that allows instructors to add text, an image or video between questions to provide more context, introduce or transition to a new topic or present information needed to answer the next question.

Instructors can also add polls through Kahoot! Pro to get feedback from students and check to see if they understood the content.

The company has also extended the character limit to 125 characters in questions and 75 for answers. Instructors can also add a four-minute timer option to give more students time to thin through complicated questions.

In terms of the game creator interface, Kahoot! is adding a feature to allow instructors to drag and drop to reorder questions, preview mode and an autosave feature.
