Online Student Monitoring Platform Prevents Suicides

Gaggle is working with school districts to proactively respond to safety issues and threats that can arise when students are using online collaboration tools for learning.  Thirteen school in six states have recently partnered with Gaggle to monitor online learning spaces such as Google's G Suite for Education, Microsoft 365 and Canvas.

The Gaggle's safety solutions combine artificial intelligence tools with "trained safety experts" to provide "real-time analysis" and reviews of online platforms that students utilize. Schools that have partnered with the online safety platform have been able to save the lives of 722 students who were actively planning or attempting to commit suicide during the 2018-2019, according to Gaggle.

Gaggle’s online safety platform is also compliant with National Center of Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) requirements that aim to help school districts with the risks and liability issues related to pornographic images that could be inadvertently uploaded by students to school servers.
