Arkansas Assembles Cyber Threat Response Team
School districts in Arkansas can now ask the state for help from "a small group of IT professionals" who are ready to respond cyber threats.
The Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DSSE) recently announced the creation of the state's first P-12 Cyber Threat Response Team in a memo.
A team of Cyber Threat First Responders will help school districts "isolate the incident, assess the damage, recover networks/ data/systems when possible and implement prevention strategies."
To get assistance, school districts need to contact their local Arkansas Division of Information field technician or co-op technology coordinator.
The Cyber Threat First Responders team includes individuals from schools and regional co-ops across the state.
