Aver Introduces Large Meeting Room 4K Audio Tracking Camera

Aver Information Inc. USA has announced the release of its CAM570 PTZ (pan/zoom/tilt) 4K dual-lens audio tracking camera, specifically geared for large meeting room and conferencing applications. The camera features three pairs of built-in sensors that detect human voices up to 10 meters away. The company showcased the camera at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2023.

The camera has 36X total zoom and an AI lens with 95-degree FOV (field of view). Beamforming technology guides the camera to track and focus on those speaking while reducing other audio, using mouth and human voice detection, the company said. The CAM570 is Zoom certified and works seamlessly with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and other video conferencing platforms.

The camera is powered by intelligent AI technology, using Qualcomm’s QCS610 IoT SoC (System-on-Chip) technology. It also uses Aver’s Dynamic Detection, which automatically adjusts the camera angle and zoom to capture every meeting participant, and the frame adjusts as the number of participants changes. AVer’s Smart Gallery also merges close-ups of everyone in the room, with individuals arranged around a panoramic view. Users can switch between headshot and half-body frames to accommodate groups of various sizes.

Aver was founded in 2008 and provides education technology and video collaboration camera solutions. Its product lineup includes professional-grade artificial intelligence-enabled auto-tracking cameras, Zoom and Microsoft Teams Certified enterprise-grade USB cameras, document cameras, and mobile device charging solutions.
