"Project Chimera," as it's called, allows remote students to sit in on classes in real time, watching live streams of lectures and interacting with each other, as well as the teacher and the on-site students.
In May 2019, Michigan became the 32nd state to adopt standards for computer science in K-12. A company that produces virtual laboratory simulations for education has struck a deal with the Danish Ministry of Education to provide its schools with access to its programs. Beginning this month, students in lower secondary (grades 8-10) and upper secondary grades will have access to STEM-focused simulations from Labster, which has its headquarters in Denmark.
