Trend Micro Offers $15k Technology Grants for Public Schools

As part of its 25th anniversary, data security firm Trend Micro is offering grants to 12 K-12 schools and districts in the United States, including cash, in-kind contributions, and IT professional services.

The Trend Micro Education Tech Grant program will provide up to $10,000 per school, in-kind contributions of software licenses, and professional IT services for a day, with the total award totaling up to $15,000 per winning school.

To apply, a school representative must fill out an online form explaining how the grant will be used and what makes the school different from other schools applying for the grant.

The grant is open to individual public schools with student populations of 500 to 1,000 or districts with student populations of 500 to 3,000 only in the following cities and adjoining areas: Atlanta; Boston; Chicago; Dallas; Denver; Irvine, CA; Los Angeles; Minneapolis; New York; St. Louis; San Francisco; and Washington, D.C.

Applications are due Nov. 30.
