Arizona District Taps Private Partner for Blended Learning Curriculum

The Phoenix Union High School District has teamed with a private partner to offer students online and blended learning options for the 2015-2016 school year.

The district chose to adopt Edgenuity's full curriculum for its embedded student tools, the rigor of its content and its differentiated training for teachers with varying levels of comfort and experience in blended learning environments.

"Phoenix Union chose Edgenuity because we needed a comprehensive online and blended learning solution to provide extended learning opportunities for our students," said Seth Beute, facilitator of virtual instruction for Phoenix Union High School District, in a prepared statement. "Edgenuity's blended learning offering truly met our district's goal of increasing choices for student success and providing teachers with a variety of methods of instructional delivery and support."
