Free edWebinars Support Educators Building Students’ Digital Literacy Skills

Educators who are looking to build up students’ digital literacy skills can now learn how through a new series of webinars from Learning.com and edWeb.net, available at no-cost.

The online learning companies have launched Success in a Digital World, an online professional learning community for educators to share best practices on how to teach students in today’s digital world. The community is holding an upcoming series of free “edWebinars” where members will be able to collaborate on ideas in real-time. Participants can earn a certificate for attending live or by viewing recordings afterward.

The first edWebinar covers keyboarding, word processing, online safety, digital citizenship, coding and several other topics. In addition, attendees will learn how to implement a comprehensive digital literacy curriculum in the classroom.

The upcoming “Equipping Students with Digital Literacy Skills” webinar takes place on Aug. 24, 2017 at 1 p.m. PDT. Registration is open.
