Digital Promise Ed Tech Pilot Resource Updated

Just a year after its launch, Digital Promise's Edtech Pilot Framework has undergone a makeover. The purpose of the site is to help schools and districts run pilots to assess educational technology under consideration for adoption.

The basic framework hasn't changed. There are still eight phases to the pilot: identifying the need, finding products for consideration, creating a pilot plan, training users and implementing the technology, collecting data, running an analysis, negotiating a possible purchase and summarizing the findings and sharing them with stakeholders.

Now, however, the number of case studies has grown to 15, covering pilot programs of Microsoft OneNote, InventorCloud, Mathspace and other ed tech offerings.

There are also more tools and resources, which can be filtered on by pilot phase and scale of the study (small or large), along with other criteria.
